Many of us are perfectly aware of the importance of regular visits to the dentist as well as of the importance of getting dental problems caught and treated in the early phase, but we postpone making that appointment for fear of the dentist. If you also suffer from a dentist phobia, you must know that there are many ways to overcome your fear – here are some:

- Don’t go alone – ask someone you trust to accompany you to your dentist’s office, possibly someone who doesn’t have the same fear as you and ask that person to stay with you during the treatment, too.
